DELIVERY ROADMAP · SEPTEMBER 27, 2026

What works today. What comes next.

Permixa is an invite-only testnet preview. This roadmap separates shipped features, assisted setup and work still needed.

Completed for the testnet preview

  • Dashboard and agent policies: spending limits, merchant controls, budgets, activity, receipts and recovery views.
  • Multiple wallet connections: verify and associate EVM, Solana and supported Bitcoin accounts with an agent. Rabby/MetaMask, Phantom and UniSat use their supported browser interfaces.
  • Treasury planning: view linked accounts, read supported Base Sepolia, Solana devnet and confirmed Bitcoin testnet4 address balances, and plan allocations across BTC, ETH, SOL and USDC with manually entered amounts.
  • Desktop companion preview: guided wallet connection, dashboard handoff, up to 20 saved accounts, separate local drafts and guided dedicated-agent sign-in with saved acknowledgement recovery. The macOS build is unsigned and not notarized.
  • Bounded agent purchase pilot: local MCP tools with an explicit connector-status check, policy checks, a separate customer-local worker and purchase-result retrieval. A compatible Echo purchase delivered content and settled in Base Sepolia USDC.

Wallet connection proves ownership. Treasury separately reads ETH/USDC on Base Sepolia, SOL/USDC on Solana devnet and confirmed Bitcoin testnet4 address balances when opened. It does not enroll a payment source or grant spending permission. Observations expire after five minutes; unavailable is not zero.

Working with assisted setup

CapabilityCurrent condition
Agent accessA private, dedicated hosted connection credential is configured for the terminal agent. Replacing a dashboard API key does not provision this connection.
Hands-free Echo purchasesRequires an enrolled, funded local Signer, the approved exact merchant endpoint and the separate purchase worker. The Mac must stay awake and online. The configured pilot ceiling is 0.01 USDC per purchase.
Treasury executionSeparate, human-approved testnet ceremonies have been exercised. A connected-wallet allocation plan does not automatically move or rebalance assets.

The compatible test merchant is https://x402.payai.network/api/base-sepolia/paid-content. Older Echo payment versions are not interchangeable. The original Permixa test-merchant attempt remains unresolved and is excluded from the current pilot allowlist.

Remaining work

  1. Make a new wallet useful end to end: broaden Bitcoin test-network coverage, guide Signer enrollment and funding, and obtain narrowly bounded spending delegation.
  2. Simplify agent setup: MCP client configuration, new hosted connection provisioning and operator recovery. The companion now guides existing-slot sign-in, and the connector reports its local purchase settings; neither alone proves Signer readiness.
  3. Enable more payment routes safely: Direct USDC is the next testnet payment route; Lightning L402 is deferred and remains on the roadmap. Both remain disabled under the current local policy. They need enforced fees, durable execution plans, a final Signer approval gate and exact recipient, invoice or merchant binding. L402 also needs a funded customer-local Lightning backend; connecting a Bitcoin address is insufficient.
  4. Prepare friend-facing distribution after onboarding and direct USDC: signed and notarized desktop releases and clear installation and recovery instructions.
  5. Broaden tested wallet support later: current Bitcoin ownership supports native SegWit and key-path Taproot. Legacy/P2SH Bitcoin, mobile QR and EVM contract-wallet ownership are unfinished.
  6. Production readiness: independently verified recovery and security, legal review and production service targets.

These are delivery goals, not committed dates. Mainnet, real-money use and automatic rebalancing remain disabled.
